New Delhi: KL Rahul will be the captain of the Indian team’s tour of Zimbabwe. Actually, KL Rahul is running out of Team India due to injury, due to which it was not decided whether Rahul will be the captain or not, but now the BCCI has made it clear that KL Rahul will be in the role of captain on the Indian team’s tour of Zimbabwe.
The Indian team will play a series of 3 ODIs with the hosts on this tour. KL Rahul will be the captain of the Indian team on this tour, while Shikhar Dhawan will be in the role of vice-captain.
The first ODI between India and Zimbabwe will be played on August 18.
The second ODI will be played on August 20 while the last ODI will be played on August 22. All the matches of this series will be played at the Harare Cricket Ground. The India vs Zimbabwe series match will start at 12.45 pm IST.
Many senior players, including captain Rohit Sharma, are not part of the team.
At the same time, regular players like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya and fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah will not be part of the Indian team for the Tour of Zimbabwe.
