Chandigarh: The Delhi Police today arrested Deepak Tinu, the main accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, from Ajmer in Rajasthan. Sources said that the AGTF team of Punjab Police was also looking for the accused in Ajmer. However, the Delhi Police was able to trace and nab him first. Tinu had escaped from the custody of Mansa police on the night of October 1.
CIA in-charge of Mansa Pritpal Singh was dismissed from service for assisting Tinu to escape from the custody.
Superintendent of Police Gaurav Tura said that he will be brought to Mansa soon.
