Sydney: Former Australia Test cricketer Andrew Symonds died of a road accident in the northern Australian city of Townsville. Symonds was 46 years old.
Cricket Australia on Sunday confirmed Symonds’ death through its website which details the accident that took place late on Saturday night in addition to a police statement. The website described Symonds as the greatest of his time and one of Australia’s most outstanding all-rounders ever.
