London: U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu crashed out of Wimbledon on Wednesday. In the second round of the women’s singles, she was defeated in straight sets by Caroline Garcia. Radukanu, seeded 10th, could not beat French player Carolyn in this match at all. He lost both sets 6-3, 6-3.
The 19-year-old Radukanu has been lagging behind since the start of the match. She lost the first set easily. In the second set, she was seen to be giving a little bump, but in the end, this set also slipped out of her hand. At one point in the second set, Emma and Garcia were tied 3-3. The British fans were hoping for Emma’s return, but Garcia started taking the lead from here and won one point after another and also took the second set to her name.
