Before the World Cup, all 16 captains were seen in one frame, the opening ceremony today

New Delhi: The T20 World Cup begins on Sunday with Sri Lanka taking on Namibia in the qualifiers. Prior to the opening of the tournament, all the captains of the 16 participating teams were captured in one frame as they attended ‘Captains’ Day’, where they spoke to the media about the preparation of their respective teams. The official handle of the ICC has shared a picture of all the captains in one frame.

“All 16 captains in one frame,” the ICC tweeted.

The Super 12 round begins on October 22 with Australia taking on New Zealand. On October 23, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will face face-to-face at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had already confirmed that the team that won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 on November 13 in Melbourne will take home a cheque of USD 1.6 million.
