Chandigarh: Police teams are on the lookout for Amritpal Singh. It is learnt that the CCTV footage of the Mohanapur gurdwara in Pilibhit was found missing till March 25, following which a police team has reached there to investigate.
The police had also received information that Amritpal Singh and Papalpreet Singh had gone to the gurdwara, after which the police team started scanning CCTVs of nearby areas.
After investigation, it was found that the cameras of the gurdwara had started recording after March 26, which is available with the police.
Earlier, there were reports that Amritpal Singh had returned to Punjab by Haryana and is reportedly hiding in a village in Hoshiarpur.
Punjab Police have launched drives to nab him but it is yet to find any clue of his whereabouts. In the meantime, two videos and a recording of Amritpal had also surfaced in which he claimed that he is safe and not in the custody of police.
