PM Modi rightly said ‘this is not the time for war’: French President Macron

United Nations: French President Emmanuel Macron said at a session of the United Nations General Assembly that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this is not the time of war and he was absolutely right. Leaders from all over the world participated in the United Nations General Assembly.

Indian Prime Minister Modi recently met Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and said that “today is not the age of war”. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India said that this is not the age of war. This is not the time to take revenge on the West and pit it against the East. This is the time for all of us countries to face the challenges before us unitedly. ’

“Therefore, there is a dire need for new agreements between north and south. An agreement that is in the field of food, biodiversity. This is not the time to limit thinking but to forge alliances to take specific action for common interests.”
