India reports only 5,910 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: The pace of Covid-19 pandemic in India has now started dwindling. In the last 24 hours, 5, 910 fresh cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the country.

It is a matter of relief that during this period, the number of people recovering from infection has been more than new cases.

With this, over 7,000 patients have defeated Corona in the country in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 16 people have also died due to Corona in the country.

According to the Health Ministry data, the number of active cases of Covid-19 in the country has now come down to less than 60, 000. At present, there are 53, 974 active cases in the country and the daily positivity rate has reached 2.60 percent.

Meanwhile, more than 213.50 crore doses have been given in the country so far. According to data from the CoWIN website, more than 102 crore people in the country have taken the first dose of the vaccine while more than 94 crore people have received the second dose of the vaccine. With these, more than 16.68 crore people have taken the precautionary dose.
