Chandigarh: The Indian flag was hoisted at the house of Gurpatwant Pannu in Sector 15, Chandigarh yesterday as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’.
Pannu, the founder of the banned outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), had appealed to people to put up Khalistani flags at prominent places on Independence Day.
Days ago, Pannu had, in a message, announced, a job abroad besides a cash reward for hoisting the Khalistani flag.
Congress leader from Ludhiana Gursimran Singh Mand hoisted the tricolour at Pannu’s gate.
Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Baljit Singh Daduwal had recently asked Sikh youths to stay away from Pannu’s propaganda.
