New Delhi: After winning the presidential election, Draupadi Murmu has been sworn in as the 15th President of India. She is the country’s first tribal woman president. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the tribal society when Draupadi Murmu becomes the President.
President Draupadi Murmu was today sworn in as the country’s highest constitutional office in the Central Hall of Parliament House. She was then given a 21-gun salute. Chief Justice of India N V Ramana administered the oath of office to her.
