Tokyo: Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot dead during a speech at an election campaign event in the western part of the country today.
According to Japan’s local TV channel, Abe has died during the treatment in a private hospital.
Earlier, injured Abe was taken to the hospital but at that time he was not breathing and his heart rate was also off. Abe suffered a heart attack after being shot and was taken to the provincial hospital. The police have arrested Mashsuk from the spot in Nara.
