Chandigarh: In a set back to Chief minister Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government, the Chief Justice of the High Court has dismissed the request of Mann to get Sidhu moosewala’s murder probed by a sitting judge has been dismissed on Saturday.
After Moosewala’s family demanded an inquiry into the murder case by a sitting judge, the home secretary had written to the High Court urging the Chief Justice to get the case investigated by the sitting judge.
Sources said the high court has dismissed the demand and a notice in this regard has been sent to the Punjab chief secretary.
