Lucknow: In a relief to Union minister Ajay Mishra, the Allahabad High Court has granted bail to his son Ashish Mishra in the Lakhimpur incident on Thursday.
Eight were mowed down including four farmers and a journalist by a car owned by minister’s son on October 3 last year, when farmers were protesting against Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit to the area.
Mishra is one of the accused in the incident.
