Beijing: In a bid to contain virus spread in the country, the authorities in China’s southwestern city of Baise has imposed the lockdown on Monday.
The city has a population of 3.6 million, directed locals to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel as they enforced restrictions to combat rising local infections of coronavirus.
