Congress MLA Nagra criticised for using women dancers

Chandigarh: Congress MLA and working president of Punjab Congress Kuljit Singh Nagra is facing opprobrium of people and opposition for using dancers to canvass for him.

In a viral video, a group of women dancing on beats of Punjabi songs, reportedly on the streets of Fatehgarh Sahib segment, campaigning for Nagra. After dancing on songs, they were seen raising slogans in the support of MLA and asking public to vote for him.

Many people on social media is criticising this move of the Congress MLA and opposition leaders have objected this and termed it despicable move just to cash votes.

A video of criticising Nagra also went viral in which a person slammed Nagra for hiring women from other states to perform and woo voters.

Jagdeep Singh Cheema, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) (B) Lakhbir Singh Rai, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and others also raised objections and attacked Nagra for playing cheap tactics to get votes.
