Mumbai: In a bizarre incident reported from Maharashtra, a group of monkeys has reportedly killed around 250 dogs in Beed village to take ‘revenge’ of killing a baby money by pack of dogs recently.
Locals claimed that monkeys have been on a rampage of killing puppies for a past few weeks. They dragged the canines to the top of buildings and trees, and then dropped them.
Forest officials said that two monkeys involved in the killing of many puppies have been captured by a Nagpur Forest Department team in Beed after locals of approached forest department and requested them to catch the monkeys in the area.
Meanwhile, locals said that there are hardly any dogs left in the village but the monkeys have not stopped.
