Japan has announced that those arriving from India, Romania, Greece, and four other US states will have to undergo strict quarantine vigilance. It has taken such a measure to curb the spread of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron.
As per the latest reports, all those travelling from these said countries will now have to undergo strict quarantine measures on arrival to Japan. Further, Japanese nationals as well as foreign residents, travelling from Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota and New York to Japan, will be required to mandatorily spend three days of their two-week quarantine at government-designated facilities.
