Chandigarh: A district court here on Thursday rejected the bail applications of former Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and then SSP Sukhminder Singh Mann in the Kotkapura firing case.
The court, however, approved the anticipatory bail of former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in this case.
On February 24, the SIT had submitted a challan against all these persons in the court, accusing the former chief minister, deputy chief minister and police officials of lathi-charging the Sikh sangat as part of a conspiracy.
