New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids in several cities of Bihar in connection with its money laundering probe in the ‘land for jobs’ case.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi were recently questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the case.
Officials said raids are being carried out at the premises of some rashtriya janata dal (RJD) leaders in cities including Patna.
The case pertains to allegedly giving railway jobs to Lalu Prasad’s family in exchange for gifting or selling land when he was the railway minister between 2004 and 2009, he said.
