Phagwara: Two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants shot dead a shopkeeper here last night. Sanjay Sachdeva (34) was closing his shop in Ankhi Nagar when he was shot dead, said SHO Amandeep Nahar said.
The injured was rushed to the civil hospital and later referred to a private hospital. His condition is critical.
It is not known if there was any old enmity behind the incident or the bikers came with the intention of robbing. The investigation is underway.
