ICC announces ‘T20 Team of the Year 2022’, Babar Azam not included in it

New Delhi: The ICC has announced the T20 Team of the Year 2022 in which Pakistan captain Babar Azam has not got a place. From India, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya have got a place in this team. Apart from this, Mohammad Rizwan has got a place in the team from Pakistan.

England’s Jos Buttler has been selected as the wicketkeeper/opener in the team selected by the ICC, while Mohammad Rizwan is included in the team as an opener. Virat Kohli has got a place at number 3 and Suryakumar Yadav at number 4.

Apart from this, Glenn Phillips has been successful in making his place at Number 5. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza has got a place at number 6. Hardik Pandya and Raza have been included in this team as all-rounders. Sam Curran, Wanindu Hasaranga are also included in this team.

Haris Rauf and Jos Little have also managed to make their place in the ICC T20 team.

The most surprising thing is that Pakistan’s captain legendary batsman Babar Azam has not been included. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf and Mohammad Rizwan have been included in the ICC’s T20 best team. In fact, Babar’s form in the T20 World Cup 2022 was very poor. This is the reason why the Pakistani captain has not been able to make his place in this team.
