Fifth day of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab, travel time changed amid security concerns

Jalandhar: Rahul Gandhi’s 5th day’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab is underway in Jalandhar. It started with Avtar Regency near Kala Bakra in Jalandhar. The first stop of today’s journey has been completed. Rahul has reached Kharal Kalan at 10.30 pm. Now at 3 pm, this journey will leave for Tanda.

On Monday, the yatra will be in two phases, in which Rahul Gandhi along with his supporters will travel about 23 KM on foot.

Starting from Kala Bakra in Jalandhar, the yatra stopped at the first stop at Kharal Kalan Adampur after a tea break at Bhogpur. The journey will start at 3 pm and end at Tanda Chawla Sky Bar T-Point by taking a T-break near Dhadiala.

The special thing is that the travel time has now been changed in Punjab. Due to dense fog in the morning, the Punjab Police did not agree to start it at 6 o’clock. After which the journey was started at 7 o’clock.

Two days ago, Jalandhar MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh also suffered a heart attack due to walking in the cold and he died.

Mosewala’s father walk along Gandhi

On Sunday, the yatra started from Khalsa College Ground. However, after the sudden death of MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh due to a sudden heart attack in Saturday, it was postponed for 24 hours. But after that, the yatra, which started at 3 pm, also saw Sidhu Moosewala’s father and supporters. Rahul hugged Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and walked the yatra after holding his hand.
