New Delhi: With 6,050 new cases reported in a day, India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 4,47,45,104 so far. This is the highest number of daily reported cases in the last 203 days.
Now the number of patients under treatment has increased to 28,303. On September 16 last year, the country had reported 6,298 daily cases of the virus.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am today, three patients died in Maharashtra, two each in Karnataka and Rajasthan and one each in Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
The number of people who lost their lives due to corona in the country has increased to 5,30,943.
