4 teachers killed, 4 injured in bus-jeep collision in Ferozepur

Chandigarh: Four people were killed in a road accident in Ferozepur, Punjab on Friday morning. While 4 people were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, where their condition remains critical. Among the dead are three teachers and the driver of the tempo-tax jeep.

The three deceased teachers are residents of Jalalabad. They were working as a government teachers in Baltoha block of Tarn Taran district.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating. At the same time, Ministers Dr. Baljit Kaur and Harjot Singh Bains have expressed grief over the accident.

The accident took place near Khaifemeke on Fazilka-Ferozepur highway on Friday morning. Here the bus and the tempo-tax jeep collided head-on and 4 including 3 teachers lost their lives.

At the same time, 4 teachers were badly injured those are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Education Minister Harjot Bains also expressed his grief over the incident and wished speedy recovery of injured teachers.
